We love this because it’s made with only a few ingredients and without any additives or preservatives. This syrup is made with real coconut milk instead of artificial flavoring, which not only gives a better flavor but makes it creamier, too.
Ingredient Notes
- Butter: We use salted butter for this recipe. You can use unsalted instead, but add just a pinch of salt.
- Sugar: Standard white granulated sugar works best for this syrup.
- Coconut Milk: Use a high-quality coconut milk, which typically has a higher fat content, making for a creamier, better-tasting syrup.
- Vanilla Extract: Use pure vanilla extract for the best flavor.
Syrup Consistency
If you want a thinner syrup, use more water and simmer for a shorter time.
If you like a thicker syrup, use less water and let it simmer for a longer time.
Serving Suggestions
Breakfast: Pour over pancakes, waffles, French toast, and crepes. You could even add this as a sweetener for your oatmeal and yogurt.

Storage and Reheating Instructions
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
To reheat, just pop it in the microwave in 10 to 15-second increments, or heat gently on the stove until warm.
